On Acid

So this was a genuine spur of the moment photo today. I was at an event and this silo was outside the venue. As we left I grabbed my camera and took a quick photo. I felt rushed, it was late, there were other people around leaving the event, I was anxious and too conscious of everyone around me.
I should’ve stopped, taken my time around the location, take more photos, swap for a more suitable lens, try different compositions.
But, I didn’t. I don’t mind the end result, but I feel it could’ve been better and I know I could have enjoyed the process a lot more.
What I did get from the evening is a reminder to get out of my head, and a desire to revisit the location to full appreciate it.
There will be photos of this in the future (hope they are good after all this talk).
